One of the climate actions promoted by the Green New Deal Network (GNDN) is the American Climate Corps. The GND Network’s top priority now is promoting the American Climate Corps (ACC). By putting young people to work tackling the climate crisis at home, the ACC could produce tangible and near-immediate economic and social benefits for young people, our families, and our communities. They urge us to find out projects funded in our state and get the word out to young people to apply for these meaningful job opportunities.
The GNDN has a page on the Climate Corps that describes the “government jobs training program that will create new positions in local communities to take on the climate crisis.” GND activists played a major role in promoting the program with the White House and GNDN will help with recruiting participants.
